I'll take the grape ones if you don't want them.
Particularly Pixie Stix. Grape's the best flavor of those.
Yeah, wtf? Grape is fantastic. Its literally the flavor "purple".
In Britain, if not Europe, "purple" is often blackcurrant, not grape.
You never see my man kiwi without that damn upstagin' strawberry
Orange
Is it the flavor of the orange fruit or the flavor of the color orange? n o o n e k n o w s
FWIW the fruit was named first and is the source of the name for the color, so by that logic the flavor should be the fruit
As a certified Orange Enjoyer, it always perplexed me how other kids were always so ready to trade away their orange Starburst.
As someone who also thinks the pink ones are way overrated, though, it ultimately didn't matter to me, because li'l me was out there making some deals
Some iffy candidates:
- root beer
- black licorice
- grape
Root beer barrels come to mind. Obviously black licorice has it's own candy. Usually I see grape flavored fun dip and pop rocks
Black licorice
I am Dutch and questioning the core of my existence now.
Don't you guys have salted black licorice, too? That's like the candy version of adding insult to injury.
Surprised to see Grape so many times! The fake grape flavor of grape candy is my favorite!
Let's play hide and seek, I'll hide and you seek professional help.
All joking aside, I'm glad you enjoy them! I've never really met anyone who does so I always have to just begrudgingly eat the grape candy myself when it comes in a bag with different flavors. I hate food waste too much to throw the damn stuff out
Whatever these orange "peanuts" are
Ah, the texture of fine styrofoam and the flavor of nearly extinct fruit shaped like a cartoon depiction of the least memorable circus snack. Truly a champion among sweets.
I used to love those as a kid. They were even better when they were a little stale and they had a firmer outer crust while the inside was nice and soft. Havent had them in ages, though.
Cherry for me. Common flavor in lots of fruity candy mixes but not my favorite. I do like cherry sours on their own though
Luden’s cherry cough drops for me. I can eat them like candy, and honestly they probably are.
My disdain for cherry candies actually comes from a childhood of sore throats and, therefore, gratuitous cherry-flavored medicines. I know it’s all mental but I can ’feel’ my tongue go numb from anything with that cherry flavor…
Am I the only one who doesnt care for watermelon flavor?
Of all the "red" flavors, watermelon is the most disappointing. Just give me cherry, strawberry, or raspberry. Far, far superior.
Watermelon and strawberry both, just gross.
Lime? Don’t see a lot of lime candy all by themselves.
Butter too. So many candies include butter, but it’s rarely hyped as the star flavor.
What about butterscotch, though?
No thanks, I’ll take it without the butter.
A man of culture, I see
Whatever the hell candy corn is.
Eat it with a handful of peanuts. Goes from awful to awesome.
Like the crunchy ones that come in shells or the god forsaken orange foam ”candy"?
Lol yes real peanuts. I wouldn't wish the orange foam on my worst enemies.
Wish them on me instead, I adore them!
You have exclusive rights to any foam peanuts that come my way.
now kiss
Circus peanuts! Even as a kid, those things were disgusting.
It's made with honey, sugar, butter, and vanilla, and I loooove it.
I don't understand the question
I'd guess that they mean that they reliably show up in an assortment but aren't many people's favorite.
My sense is it's getting at "what's an overated candy flavor"
You know if a candy line has a fruit punch flavor you're in for an iffy time.
Fruit punch is just all the fruits that you wouldn't eat individually mixed together. A jambalaya of mediocrity.
'Jambalaya of Mediocrity'. Excellent.
A Gumbo of Meh
Onion.
It's in almost everything; but almost nobody claims it to be their favorite.
onion flavoured candy is the best
