It's not the release, but the idea/intent.
Sure, but the issue is they're obviously looking at ways to make ads more invasive. Maybe they won't do this particular approach, but they've shown their hand.
This is the direction the TV industry is going: TVs as billboards. My current TV is okay (LG, no ads), but most newer TVs aren't acceptable.
