I've found that some people use Linux just to be apart of the "cool tech kids" on the internet. They don't understand how to use a CLI...

I hope that's true. If Linux has come this far to make PC life possible for the cool kids, I say welcome to each and every one of them.

No worries. Took me a moment as well. 🤪

Thanks for linking that community.

On top of you advice: IMO if the tap water is safe for drinking, use that and don't buy bottled water at all. No need to add to the plastic problem. Also: it's usually cheaper.

Just posted the article. Why not be constructive and post something more informative?

You either spend your life really well or you have way too much time on your hands.

Either way I read your post with happy curiosity. 🙂

I love Vivaldi. Am sad it's Chromium. Wish Firefox would take a page out of Vivaldi's features book and innovation approach.

Mastodon struggles a bit to pick up pace.

Found this:

It explains some pain points.

Agreed. Horrible news.

Hoping Syncthing-Fork will continue.

I just installed that on your recommendation.

Hoping for the best.

Here the link for anyone who wants to check it out.

Nice idea.

Does this run 24/7? How much traffic is generated so I don't use up all my mobile data?

This sounds interesting. Something I'd give a shot. But the Github doesn't have much to go by. Yet?

PeerTube is fantastic with its decentralized model that prioritizes user privacy and control. However, it still struggles to gain widespread popularity.

What do you think could be done to enhance PeerTube's appeal and functionality, possibly even becoming a serious alternative to YouTube?

... as explained here.

Basically Microsoft presents this "incredible" product, and then says in the same breath: "Oops, not for your current setup. Maybe you should consider buying a new PC?"

Really!? 😠

If only Linux were ready for mainstream use...

What do you think?

Google did it again.
