I live in a "first past the post" country that forces a two-party system and penalizes voting your conscience unless it aligns with one of those parties. While there may be flaws in Ranked Choice Voting that could emerge in fringe cases, it is so obviously superior to our current system that it is hard for me to worry too much about the nuance of how it might not be 100% perfect 100% of the time. Any (democratic) system is better than what we have now.

I’ve had all my credit frozen for several years, ever since I got a call from Best Buy about someone trying to setup a credit card in my name. I since had a report that my credit line at sprint was declined because my credit was frozen. It’s no big deal to freeze and thaw.

ICJ ruled on the validity of Colombia’s claims to islands off the coast of Nicaragua. It’s ironic because the islands are four times the distance from Columbia than Nicaragua, but they ruled Columbia’s territorial claims include all the way out to the islands. It’s almost 500 miles of water claims that are now included in Columbia’s territory. Meanwhile, Costa Rica is in the corner with the least amount of water territory in the Caribbean.
