Amen.
I thought there might be some truth to it as a kid. As a 40-something, I realize it was just selfish dicks trying to rationalize their own shitty "fuck you, I got mine" worldview as maturity somehow.

Hear me out for a second...
Maybe, just maybe, it's spending 3 hours in stop and go traffic that's the problem, not the transmission.
Yeah anything is possible with enough time and money, it's just that is about the most textbook example of comparing apples to oranges I've seen IRL.
Also, I suppose Lego bricks might be considered low cost if you're a billionaire, but in the grand scheme of molded plastics they are very much a premium product.
If LEGO and soda cans, which are very low cost, can do this, so can we.
This man is a certifiable idiot, and I feel bad for anyone working for him.
That's not even tilt shift (which would imply some deliberate effort )... the doofus just used the portrait setting on their phone which is meant to frame a face not a detached garage lol
Point of clarification: were you wearing your backpack with both straps on, one strap on your shoulder, or across your chest?
Yeah I feel like we're getting somewhere now. At first I was on OP's side, but now I'm imagining them like sitting on the sofa drinking a Diet Dr Pepper while watching Judge Judy reruns and half carrying on a conversation with their dad while wearing their backpack. Then after Judge Judy renders her verdict, dad is suddenly like "why are you wearing a backpack?" Then OP gets defensive and weird, and finally we find ourselves at the situation in the meme.
I feel like there is context missing here. The situation is just way too specific...
It's funny because every other McMansion Hell post makes fun of houses with turrets, but I'm with you... I'd love a 3rd floor turret with windows on all sides for a chillaxing space.
Honestly put a door in front of the shitter and pull the carpet away from the tub a bit, and I'd take it in a heartbeat.
Looks like a drafting table. Maybe the owner is an architect or a cartoonist?
Manual transmission or not, yes, I would confidently say that moving or changing jobs is the best solution to address a 3 hour commute. Bonus point being that you will better be able to enjoy your manual transmission.
