Google is garbage now. Everything I search is basically useless highly SEO optimized websites that provide nothing close to the info I'm requesting.

Yea stopping animal testing sounds great, but animal testing is the backbone of drug and medical breakthroughs. So at least for now that's not possible

I didn't wish death, I said I hope Christians stick to their guns and refuse to believe in science like many already do.

All they need is God, it would be hypocritical of them to rely on science which disproves their religion to save their life.

Hopefully they'll just refuse to use it and all the Christians will die of cancer

Um they are not almost as bad as ICE vehicles. Even including emissions during manufacturing it still only takes a handful of years for most EVs to be more environmentally friendly than an ICE vehicle.

All but the highest end EVs will likely switch to a LiFePO4 battery chemistry, this chemistry is much more stable under destructive conditions and are less prone to combustion and thermal runaway.

The mainstream content on reddit is not something I would be interested in, and I would actually be sad if it made it's way over to lemmy.

But I would love the tons of niche (non tech savvy niche, they are already here) communities to make their way over here.

Because every item on Amazon can have many different sellers, some of them have the same product in the same Amazon warehouses. OP added the item to their cart using the default seller, it just so happens that the seller also raised their prices that day. So the price went up in OP's cart.

Searching the product on Amazons store likely still said $30 because Amazon switched the default seller to the new cheapest one, which was no longer the seller that OP added to the cart.

I'm a FOSS advocate, and I have the $20 Sync ad free.

It's more like one dev made the best user experience on lemmy, so people give him money. At least that's the case for me.
