Politics in a political or news sub is fine. Politics in, say, a technology sub or a gaming one is just annoying.

Maybe we’ll gain the ability to upload our brains to a computer. But then the downside is, if the computer dies so do you.
Halloween is still pretty capitalistic. You have to buy the candy you are handing out, and are encouraged to purchase decorations and make your home thematic to the season
I don’t mind people putting up decorations early, it’s when stores swap out their seasonal stock early that triggers me
Not really comparable since a medical diagnosis has hundreds of possible results
I feel that taxes should just be automatic unless you do unusual things like own a personal business or trade a lot of stocks or some such. Doing taxes for those makes sense since you need to write off business expenses and similar

I have this one station I like to listen to that plays a variety of stuff from local artists and the like. Very few ads too, though they occasionally go into “soliciting for memberships” mode now and then.

I’ve got about 15 hours in it. So far so good. Not 10/10 GOTY material no, but good. Probably about a 7 maybe 8/10
I think there’s a middle ground here. You should be able to put up with shit occasionally. Sometimes tensions will be high for one reason or another and things might get snippy, no reason to quit over that. But if you’re having to do it every day because your boss is just an asshole, then yeah you should be looking for a new job.
Rare for me. As rare as possible before I’m risking food poisoning.
