cuz you live in the west ;) if you mean online, cuz it's made by the west

as a Hongkonger, almost all mythological references I see are Chinese

Interesting. I didn't know the beta version exists. I'll try it out later. Thanks!

I did try it. It doesn't let me download the entire album though :<

Not sure if this fits your need, but if you just want to own the files, maybe try playing locally?

I don't have an unlimited data plan, so I use "Gelli" which can download from Jellyfin and play them offline. However, it's buggy and haven't been updated in a while, so I'm planning on ditching that, and switch to locally storing the music files.

I found an Android music player named "Symphony". It reads directories as album, as well as metadata. Importantly, it also saves the queue for me. I have a self-hosted Nextcloud so I can sync music to my phone. Symphony would read them from the directory.

I imagined it in a cartoon-ish fashion, so I think I can actually draw it out.

drawing

  • Red ball
  • Male
  • Like Google's default profile picture, without facial features, except he's in gray and has a neck
  • My single hand can surround more than half of it in a cross section view, so about 12cm in diameter
  • Rectangular table, about 5:2, I didn't imagine the material, but it's plain brown, so I guess wood?

Additionally, the ball rolls parallel to the long edge of the table, and falls off the short edge. The person also have legs.

I already had these in my mind before being asked.

Having a relationship is a bonus for me. Not having one is normal, and I don't mind.

Also that's like a few hundred things that I don't have to worry about.

Quick! Put the penguin back in before it's too late!

Now everyone is going for this and they're gonna charge more WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

I'm satisfied with mine and I use it everywhere. How about you?

I'm a Hongkonger and often need to type in Chinese. While I can use input methods like Cangjie or Quick, I much prefer handwriting to keep in mind how to write the characters in a digital age.

So far, I have only seen open source keyboards without handwriting support. Does any of them exist?

I'm working on a presentation about the Fediverse, and would like to end the presentation with a slogan. Any ideas?

Edit: I probably should've specified more stuff. This is an informative presentation, not persuasive, and I don't plan to get into the enshittification. Ideally I don't want to include any corporations.

Edit 2: My title is "The Future is Everywhere"

I remember reading somewhere (probably my high school textbook) that one of the reasons people don't like wind power being built is they cause visual pollution.

In my opinion, I think it would be pretty cool to just look out my window and see a giant windmill there, the opposite of visual pollution.

I had a moment to think about why I like certain games, and I have figured out some criteria for myself,

  1. Vibrant colours
  2. Simple/Cartoon-ish looks
  3. Mid/High level of complexity in mechanics

That's why my current favourite game is Splatoon 3, followed by Minecraft, and the list consists mostly of Nintendo games.

What's your criteria?
