I never studied the myths but I've always liked to think that the worship of Zeus et al was as messy as the worship of Jesus. The same way we have huge religious wars between Protestants and Catholics, there would have been people dying over whether Zeus was the God of Thunder or the God of Lightning.
Hermes married Aphrodite after stealing cattle the day he was born. God of thieves and general mischief maker. A lot like Loki, but without all the Daddy issues.
I stayed away when it was in the theaters, then saw that it was on Netflix and figured I'd give it a chance.

I thought that 'Big Trouble...' did well but it turns out not to be so.

Children under 5 get a giant Christmas card, the kind the whole office is supposed to sign. Little kids never get mail, so you'll make their Christmas. Give parents cash to get whatever the kid actually needs.
Children 5 to 10 get a GI Joe or a Barbie. Doesn't matter if the kid likes that toy, what matters is that they can trade it in the school yard. It's like sending someone in jail a carton of Newports.
Ages 10 to 20 get cash.
Over 20 gets a nice bottle of booze. Even if they don't drink, they can regift it easily.
Oh, to be an octogenarian. Must be nice.

Also, it reminds me of something Joan Rivers said. She said she knew two kinds of old folks; people she'd known growing up, and people she'd met in show business. The friends and neighbors all wanted to talk about the past, and the show biz people would always be excited about the upcoming shows and concerts. I know what kind I'll try to be.
