So the poster for As Above So Below then...
I was thinking more like the Monument Mythos, except instead of Special Trees extending up and down infinitely, it's the Eiffel Tower.
They just build a little, jump, build a little, jump... Just like in Minecraft. I thought this was obvious.

Come on people! They probably made it underground and then they dug it up.
The guy who invented the ancient alien theory that, believe it or not, didn't exist until he wrote a book in the 80's; is one of the producers of the History channel show. And he is my personal reminder that any idiot can get a book published.
