Russians have a true sense of patriotism and love for their people, not like you in the West that send their brothers to die and enslave their own people. This has just made Putin stronger, all of the military supported him and proved his men are loyal. Prigozhin got ousted and Wagner is going to be nationalized, Ukraine didn't even win any territory in the front lines during all of this because their offensive didn't even start. If you consider this a lost you are delirious and refuse to analyse reality.

I think you didn't read the last news, it's over because Wagner is going back.

I fucking love sparkling water.

Lemmygrad is a collection of Marxist communities, for memes, learning, news, discussion, media, or anything you like.

There's a big chance that your instance blocks Lemmygrad, so the best way to interact with the community is either joining there or creating an account on an instance that doesn't blocks us. You can check this on the instaces section of your instance. This is what it looks like for Lemmy, but you can basically add /instances to the URL and it will take you there.

Due to the huge influx of users after the Reddit debacle Lemmygrad got a lot of account requests so it takes time for approval, be patient.

I remember seeing some Philips bulbs that you could configure it's tone with their application, sad thing is closed source and shit but maybe once you change it you don't need to touch it anymore, unless you want it to change its colour throughout the day.

I guess since they weren't caught there's nothing to report about it so we probably wouldn't know... so I assume yes. Also Whonix works in perfect combination with QubesOS, so at that level of opsec is fucking hella hard to caught someone, IMO.

Recently there was kind of a discussion, with one user being a bit mean towards the other regarding the latter posting a link to Amazon.

While I do not agree with how they brought the discussion, I think it would be great to read everyone's opinion about what should be link, and if linking to specific websites should be forbidden.

For example, we have Open Library, BookWyrm, Inventaire, etc, if you only want to link to a book's information, and while it is harder to find a replacement to a web site where you can buy books, users can always search for it if they want.

What are your thoughts?

Sure, the only thing I critized was that idea that highly prevails in the privacy community and in society in general that there are events or decisions which are not political, and therefore that some spaces should remain "unpoliticized". For example, "privacy is something that affects us all, and therefore we should all unite and fight for it", as if we should allow nazis to participate in any kind of decision making.

Something very similar happens in gaming, I've heard a lot of times stuff like "SJWs came and started to get politics into videogames, they are entertainment, it shouldn't be a matter of politics" as if videogames weren't a hyper politicized environment, full of mysoginy and male centered.

The same happens everywhere, all arguments are political arguments, I'm not referring when one opinion may seem like a right wing one (saying that what Israel is doing now with Palestine is genocide) when actuallt it is a left wing one; when it is hard to tell if one argument is in one side of the spectrum or the other, just that they are all political.

Agree, although I do not understand what you meant by "politicising things", I am pretty sure we are politicising things when we say we do not want fascists in the privacy community, and that is perfect.
