Best to just avoid sneezing, at all, if possible.

I sneezed after the back went out, it hurt so much Knearly had to have myself a bit of a cry.

I don't know you or your body, but I'm almost certain this is not true.

I realise that it can feel that way, though... How are you? It sounds like you're in a rough place

PS or a jokester :p

Mostly joking, haha. Thanks for the concern.

I did do a lot of repetitive manufacturing and construction for several years that pretty much fucked my hands and arms. But, its really not a big deal as long as I don't do anything too impactful.

What will always get you is doing something unusual. When working, always have a safe procedure for moving and be very careful when doing things a different way. When at home or at leisure, don't go beyond the limits of what you're used to doing without planning and prep. And know those limits! I've pulled my back a few times before and I wasn't doing anything more than usual, but I was doing it differently, and it got me.

Me washing a dish and some muscles just decide to start hurting, like "go stretch old man we don't like this"

On a serious note, do deadlifts.

I have a weak back already.. is it advisable to start lifting heavy things still? Last time i did i felt like my back got worse. Poor technique perhaps?

People default to thinking about big heavy deadlifts, but it really doesn't need to be. The muscle activation, posture, etc from light deadlifts is really good. It strengthens your back. (Talk to your doctor blah blah blah.)

Start with a bar, get your form down. Add weights very slowly (like you should be getting frustrated by how little weight you're lifting). Keep adding making sure form stays perfect. If back starts hurting drop down in weight, and start doing back and core and glute strengthening exercises. Continue.

It's not a cure, but it's pretty close.

I cured my back pain with squats and deadlifts.

The irony is that this does feel like karma for taking a week off from the gym.

I should know better, old man is always lurking, stalking and waiting for a sign of weakness.

I literally feel that. Jfc.
