I really dislike how conservatives have attempted to redefine the meaning of misogyny to literally mean the opposite of what it is. Attempting to take autonomy from women is anti-feminist. This is also clearly intended to target wlw porn.

Non-fatal strangulation is already an offence if someone does not consent but its depiction online is not illegal.
What I'm hearing here is the post-Baroness-Bertin-plan way to indulge an breath control fetish is for many people to find and choke an actual person who consents, because having many people watch one consenting person be choked is more harmful.
I guess that's...one way to go about things.
The review, due to be published later, is expected to argue that porn videos considered too harmful for any certificate in the offline world should be banned online.
It's not unreasonable in theory but the certification process is often inconsistent and who is going to police this? I just can't see it working.
On one hand, I'm overjoyed to hear that there'll be some pushback against unethical porn. On the other hand, not sure I trust this particular individual to be the arbiter.
The problem is who will define, control and enforce what is ethical or not.
