Similar to many verbs that need an object, you add "will" to the present tense.

He will run. She will jump. You will shit.

[–] [email protected] 27 points 3 days ago (1 children)

You will shit.

Yes mommy. <3

If dropping a penny from the top of the Empire State Building is not capable of killing a person on the street, what damage can be expected from dropping a deuce from the same height?

Larger surface area spread/splat.

Shall and will can be interchanged.

"Are going to" is slightly different. Still future yes, but is usually used to indicate intention rather than decisions.

"I will shit soon" and "I am going to shit" both mean basically the same thing but the connotations of those sentences are slightly different.

I must go shilt soon..

English doesn’t have a proper future tense. We talk about the future by using words like “will” or “going to”

In English simple future operates as a mode not a tense.

i wonder what the next question WILL BE ?

Most things don't have a real future tense

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago

Most? Can you name anything that does?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 3 days ago (2 children)

will is future tense

I'll is the conjugation of I + Will

So Shit + Will = Shill?

(Is that why Shills are always full of shit?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago

I don’t think “I’ll” is a conjugation but rather a contraction.

You know there are more than three tenses in the English language, I hope?

Or there’s always “by this time tomorrow, I will have shitted”

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I feel like that should be "will have shat"

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Actually, "have" takes the past participle so it's "will have shitten".
