This might be a limitation of Lemmy or voyager, but is there some option for me to "watch" or "subscribe" to a post and be notified of new comments?

Especially relevant to asklemmy since occasionally I see a post before there's any answers.

I guess it might depend on your app. Jerboa has a bookmark that saves the post. It doesn't notify but it's easy to find it again.

Thunder has a save option.

The save option is app-independent. Saved posts are saved on the server. So unless an app doesn't have a button for it they should all support them.

This is my most wanted feature but sadly it’s not a thing yet. Maybe until lemmy introduces it, apps can implement rss since rss works on threads out of the box iirc

For example; I want to follow this post to see replies :)

This post violates rule 5. Locking.

I think you can use rss maybe? I remember something about using it.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 11 months ago

With that feature I could hide read posts, which would be lovely.

Commenting here so I can check for replies later.
