If OP is using an iPhone then Linux is probably not right for them. Just have to accept that you don't control your own devices when you're using those platforms.
Great, then you didn't have to say "Should have installed linux instead" because you admit that it may not be the right solution for everyone.

I assure you that most people that use Linux don't degoogle their phone. What's the difference then?
