It is just another industry as long as it is done safely. I know it's filled with a lot of issues, controversies and problems. Like production companies and websites abusing girls, models etc., such as "girls do porn". And other actors abusing other actors.

Porn is acting, just because somebody works in porn doesn't mean harassment doesn't exist towards them.

I know it may still be taboo in many circles and there's still a shame in the world about it. But as with anything in life, some people are okay with it, some people are not, some people choose to ignore it.

It's definitely clear that addiction and overconsumption of porn exists and it does affect humans and their relationships, and it's pretty clear all porn companies have in mind to increase profits and this means that it's in their interest for customers to alienate their relationships and over rely on porn and it's associated products to not only get their horny fix but to fulfill other emotional needs, I mean look at all the AI Chatbots that are being created and the AI Virtual girlfriend experiences. But, I don't feel like this is the only industry that has these issues and that it's the only industry where it's goals aren't what's best for the health of the consumer. Exaggeration and endless pursuit of growth and profits will do this to every industry.

I feel like, with everything in our life we should do our best to be informed and to actively be aware and pursue moderation, but I'm also aware it's not easy and it's not the way humans work.

As much as I say these things I'm not a saint or perfect and I don't always follow them. I myself have an addiction or a mild addiction.

You know, "Do as I say, not as I do"
