That's me, but that's not why I block anime. A lot of it on Lemmy is really creepy. Very childish looking characters, with very womanly features, in very sexual depictions. I don't understand the appeal, and don't want to understand the appeal. As far as general anime like Altered Carbon, or Ghost in the Shell, I think that stuff is pretty cool. But that's not what I see a million posts of here on this platform, so I just added keywords to filter all of it out.

Based response and I'm with you. I could watch Bebop, Trigun, GiTS all day but some of the newer anime stuff just puts me right off
