God I love movie props so bad. I wanted a real pokidex so fucking bad when I was a kid. TBH I bet you could make a real one with a raspberry pi that scrolls through menus with animations and shit.

There have been several Pokédex reproduction props but I’m pretty sure they’ve all been pretty cheap. I think there was a Pokédex-styled Nintendo DS at one point though, which was pretty cool.

I definitely have seen people make some over the years. Why there isn’t an official one is beyond me.
