Stow-ic (Stoic): To be emotionally disconnected, stable, without reaction.
Sto-ike (Stoich): Slang, of an engine to be running at it's optimal stoichiometric ratio for combustion
I spend too much time in car groups.
Stoich is also a general term for stoichiometry, in chemistry. Same idea as with engines, but more general.
I've seen that terminology used for engines, but I had no idea it was pronounced different and had another meaning.
Flashbacks to chemistry class where we calculated this shit, get me out!
I am running at my optimal stoichiometric ratio. I am above your jest.
could you use this in a sentence? i'm having a hard time understanding how to use it.
"The ratio of air to fuel inside the cylinder is at 14.7 to 1, exactly at stoich."
ohh got it, thank you :)
