Do linux and privacy focused consumers actually make up a large portion of their market share? Linux users still make up a small portion of desktop users, and not even all of those really care much about privacy.

I admit that I’m skeptical since everyone is a node. It probably is fine, but I don’t know the risks that I take by volunteering as a node. I thought that VPNs can be fine as long as they don’t store logs, but I could be mistaken.

I don’t know if there is an all inclusive list for all major religions, but hebcal.com has a detailed calendar for Judaism. Not everything on the calendar requires Jews to take time off of work, so further research may be required to get the exact list that you’re looking for. It does give some explanation of each holiday on the site though.

Where do we draw the line for “rich people?” You can’t just have a system where you can hurt and steal as much as you want from rich people. What you’re describing is closer to a revolution, and carrying that idea to its conclusion usually involves a ton of bloodshed and putting new people in power who are just as bad.

Yeah I have no sympathy for advertisers, but this seems like it’s pretty clearly fraud.

I don’t think that Early Access is meant to convey a specific stage of development. That’s probably why they opted to use that instead of alpha/beta. Maybe developers should be required to disclose their plans between now and release, but I don’t feel that an arbitrary time limit is fair.

I like using Bitwarden since it lets me input passwords for various apps on my phone as well as my other devices. Using one built into your browser seems fine as long as the passwords are stored securely.

I thought that most people from here are just from various influxes of redditors.

It was going to happen eventually. It sucks since so much good content is still housed on youtube. The bright side is that I'll probably read more when uBlock stops working so well.

They kind of have to be about making money. No company survives by putting the needs of the customer above all else, unfortunately.

I think publishers value the fact that steam is essentially a form of DRM, so we got fairly lucky all things considered. Imagine if steam didn't exist and we had to deal with software like Uplay and Origin.

We need self tightening AI nuts and bolts. We could sell them to Boeing or something idk.

I am thinking of trying a new OS on my Pixel 8 pro, and I’m wondering if switching will require me to inform or update my cell service provider, Verizon, in any way to stay connected. When I just moved my SIM card from one device to another, I learned that it activates an anti theft feature after a couple of days of working normally. This was easily fixed with Verizon support, but it was a hassle since I’m still on my parents’ phone plan. Am I likely to have this or a similar issue after installing a new OS, or should my cell service and data continue to work?
