And I was just asking yesterday what would you feel if someone evil used your FOSS software: https://lemmy.world/post/16898871

If your employer forced you to either use Google or Microsoft or some other tech company (Apple, Samsung, etc.) what would be a better choice?

Which company is more compliant in terms of privacy or generally better and why?

I was thinking about Google since there were new regulations enforced by government and at least I don't have to pay for Google Docs, unlike Microsoft where I pay and I'm still spied on.

For me it's Naval.

Vim keybindings aren't memorization as much as they are muscle memory.

Dope logo. Reminds me of Tutanota.

Check static website generators: https://jamstack.org/

For hosting: GitHub pages, Codeberg pages, Netlify, Cloudflare pages...

Git-based wikis are the best IMHO.

How would a real gentleman say it?

Play lots of chess games and it'll get easier.

The everyshit app

Was there an alternative adjective to "clockwise" other than "the rotation you take around left hand"?

Also, how did all watch companies around the world agree on what the direction of "clockwise" is?

The way I'm used to it is: 1. Wake up 2. Breakfast 3. Brush teeth.

Having it as 1, 3, 2 doesn't make sense for me.

Seems to me that the Fediverse is closest thing now that's working on accomplishing his dreams. His ideals leveraging technology to create a voice for people...

RIP.

Is this a thing? i.e: a FOSS Linux system but with pre-configured pirated apps.

Imagine installing Linux and having Microsoft word, Adobe products, or some games pre-installed without pain.

Saves your battery. Easy on eyes. Dark theme is just nicer, what am I missing?

Except for Reddit ofc. I read about Nostr and James Whales from Wikipedia, but they're still early in dev
