+1 on organic maps

Gets regular updates and improvements. They recently added (slightly experimental) track recording.

You can easily import bookmarks and tracks.

You can also edit osm data if you have an account and see something outdated like opening hours.

Supports TTS instructions for handsfree navigation if your phone has TTS installed.

Its an aosp feature i believe, but its disabled on many phones. Graphene and calyx have it. With calyx its default off, but you can set it between 1 and 72 hours. Very handy feature.

Nono i agree with you, people like that cant be trusted with tying their shoes.

I just wanted to point out that the system is the way it is because of "idiot human here who actually has the ability to reason"

You think the decision to build this bot like that was not made by a human? Its idiot humans all the way down.

I feel like its on purpose but i also feel like web designers are often incompetent with stuff like that. So im undecided.

Honestly in my experience all issues with decryption have been solved for more than a year. No matter if im using android, web or desktop. Idk about apple shit but thats just not a priority probably.

Todays desktop release finally enables the new voice/video calls/rooms feature which was the last serious complaint i had.

Bad post.

A: old news

B: massively misleading headline missing important context

C: Most likely partially fabricated by law enforcement according to many experts and the tor project. They didnt execute a full timing attack because they are not capable of doing that.

From the limited information The Tor Project has, we believe that one user of the long-retired application Ricochet was fully de-anonymized through a guard discovery attack. This was possible, at the time, because the user was using a version of the software that neither had Vanguards-lite, nor the vanguards addon, which were introduced to protect users from this type of attack. This protection exists in Ricochet-Refresh, a maintained fork of the long-retired project Ricochet, since version 3.0.12 released in June of 2022.

If every single person that uses adblock decided to move to Firefox

This is the hypothetical we are talking about. This is obviously not realistic so i dont know what your point is.

[–] [email protected] 60 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (5 children)

Nah it would make a big dent for sure.

Firefox has ~180 million users

Amount of users using adblockers is ~900 million.

It would massively change the market.

Numbers according to mozilla and statista

This is not about the removed maintainers. Its about this comment section.

The irony of your comment is not lost on me.

But yeah if you were to measure a country by its loudest voices then that would be accurate.
