I read that Linux usage is much higher in India (I think ~13% vs 5% in the US, though the statistics are probably outdated). I am totally ignorant when it comes to India, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm wondering if the rise of Linux users has something to do with the government trying to limit access to Github.

I started messing with Linux to build a home server a few months ago. I am now fully in the Linux/FOSS cult, and as soon as I figure out how to either run Adobe on Linux or use the alternative software, I am nuking Windows on my personal computers. The bloatware is insufferable, not to mention shit like this.
The headline leaves out the most important part. Ads aren't only being shown on porn sites, but they're also appearing on websites that are hosted by sanctioned countries (eg, Russia). If those websites are getting kickbacks from Google, that violates laws. The EU is already investigating it.

I use multiple paid streaming services but still pirate any movies that I enjoy so that I have everything in one place (Plex). It feels redundant until I'm constantly looking online to see which service has whatever I'm wanting to watch.
They have emotional support. It can be friends, therapy, groups, or bare minimum some personal resources that they can access if things get rough. It's impossible to be someone's only support. They will drag you down with them.
To add to that- they have a positive and receptive view of therapy.
It doesn't seem to be streaming anywhere, so anyone who doesn't have an excessive amount to spend on a TV series won't be giving any profits to the creators.
I live in Texas but have never looked into solar. The fight to switch to renewable energy will be a long one because of the politicians. Texas makes a shit ton of money from oil. Politicians will continue to convince citizens that renewable energy is dangerous, ill-conceived, and "woke" so that we stick to traditional resources. There's nothing stopping someone from getting solar panels, but I'd assume it would be more expensive. I don't know if there has to be prior infrastructure in place, because that would be a problem. Some people don't even have fast internet in the Houston suburbs because they don't want to lay all the wire for only 100 people.
Eh, it depends on the intention behind the word. Narcissistic personality disorder is, by definition, a disability (as are all mental disorders). In practice, it isn't treated as such because they're just assholes. Therapy is the only treatment, and the likelihood of a narcissist actually seeking treatment is basically 0.
Most people throw the term around loosely, much like "psychopath." I'm mainly being pedantic and do agree that it is often the best word to use to describe people who exhibit narcissistic symptoms. Selfish and egotistical can be an understatement for even neurotypical people.
I'm just really interested in psychology and have a compulsion to talk about it to internet strangers who never asked and probably don't care.
