I have no idea where you get the idea that doctors do diagnosis without examination. I work in the medical field and have contact with many doctors, and no one is as careless as you suggest. Quite the contrary, actually.
In other words this is just blatantly wrong.
This is a remote internet diagnosis without looking at any symptoms.
When I was single for much longer than I liked it myself, it was for a large part because, unbeknownst to me, my style of humor was quite hurtful to others, making me quite the asshole. Needed a while to figure that out, because me being the asshole was not an idea that went down well.
