But just a tiny Matchbox car that you need to spend a small fortune over almost two decades before it's ready for use.

Depending on the speed of the hotdog car you should get your exhaust checked. ;)

Not for you today. Try again another day with proper shoes!

Somehow a pretty meta level joke if not only the rabbit but the entire international system of bloodtypes is possibly based on a typ0. 😂

In Germany the blood types are A, B, AB and 0 (zero). That's where my confusion came from: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AB0-System

Hint: You have to read it as "Type O" not 0/Zero/Null. Took me quite long ;)

As per the statement all remaining instanced will go down over time, though not sure how long that will take.

It also works with Amazon FireTV (Stick) or any other Android TV box / stick, just in case you have already one lying around. ;)

Also elderly people want to take pictures from time to time. Or use WhatsApp to join family group chats etc. Furthermore, a big & bright touch screen is definitely easier to read and handle than the old dumb phones where the same key may have a dozen of features depending on the context.

From my perspective you don't necessarily need a simplified Android but only a simplified launcher. There are plenty of senior friendly launchers in the play store.

On mobile you could also have a look at NewPipe. It does not have automated downloads but it shows you a simple list of all the videos from your subscriptions without any algorithm-based recommendations. It shows no ads and is fully open source.

Also supports plenty of services other than YouTube.

Well technically it's 11:59 hours after eight, so you're disqualified.

Sorry, you're right. It's been so long that I've installed the app and always went via system settings that I've incorrectly assumed it was native.

Hi all,

What's your opinion on the repost bot in the AITA community? From my perspective, it provides little to no value to cross post such content from another website.

First of all, AITA lives off the comments and if there aren't any, it's not really entertaining to read the posts.

Second, if someone hypothetically replied here, it would never reach the OP on reddit, so it's not meaningful to make the effort.

And last but not least, if there are sometimes dozens of reposts per hour here, it drowns any interesting original content on Lemmy.

So overall I guess it brings more harm than good.

PS: Originally I planned to post this in the AITA community directly but ironically it's locked down to "mods only". So there's not even a chance to have there any original content.

Regards, rbn
