In my opinion making AI stop taking copyrighted content can only be enforced by making all AI development open source, datasets and models included. This is the way to loosen the control bigmonopolies like Google and Microsoft have over it.

I'm really not in the know abput these things but I have seen free fangames taken down because they used copyrighted property even though the creators don't receive a penny.

I think that if I paint with my own brush a mario artwork that isn't to Nintendo's standart, they have the legal power to take it down from wherever I upload

The problem is that if copyrighted works are used, you could generate a copyrighted artwork that would be made into public domain, stripping its protection. I would love this approach, the problem is the lobbyists don't agree with me.

Cool, no Xiaomi for me then, I can't even bother with that much bureaucracy when I can just buy another phone that's easier to unlock

I will hve to look out for that when buying the next phone, thank you

I am still using a Xiaomi 7 with a custom rom, I used the tool in their webpage to unlock it. Are current gen Xiaomi phones making it impossible to unlock the bootloader?

So google is lying about rooted devices, they seem as secure as an OEM letting an user sideload apps or google themselves letting malware apps inside their store

Does rooting your device make you the root user or just gives you access to superuser utilities?

In linux systems the root user shouldn't be used for daily use, you just make an user account with permission to use sudo, doas or su.

Simply put, Fuck Melon Musk. I hope someone straps a bomb to his private plane with public routes that anyone can search.

I am not delusional enough to think people will one day leave twitter for greener pastures. As always it's too much hassle to just care a little about your privacy so normal users will never look outside the walled gardens of the bird.

I have never and will never make a xhitter account just by principle, I don't care if that leaves me out of some conversations.

Sorry for the rant
