Make my pottery, dive deeper into woodworking, and learn permaculture farming.

Medium boiled egg. Some frozen potstickers, I heated up on the side.

The Affinity Suite is so worth it. Pay a single time and get all the apps on all major OSes instead of the stupid subscription bullshit Adobe tries to lock you into.

I blame the algorithms. This shit is oushed in front of impressionable young men's faces by most social media algorithms because it drives (toxic) engagement. Others have already described why it's appealing.

This shit has always existed but it's given a soap box because corporate wants number to go up, and sadly parents these days leave parenting up to social media so they don't teach them that these views are abhorrent.

What are you going to believe? Something you read everywhere or advice from a random trustworthy guy on the internet?

If your goal is money, become an investment banker. I kind of wish I knew about this option when I was young. Those people are all millionaires at age 30.

Your life will suck for 10 years but you'll have enough of a nest egg you can retire at 35 if you want.

but if you dont actually like software engineering you have no chance when you are competing with applicants for jobs

It's called faking enthusiasm and got me every job I had. I hate my job and can't compete at all with the hotshot kiddos pouring all their lifeforce into it.

But I stay under the radar, rake in the same amount of cash they do, and stop work at 5pm while they are working till midnight and on weekends for some reason.

Smart man. This is how we fight being replaced by AI.

Even bigger question: why would you register on 4chan? Isn't the whole point anonymity?

But why? If everything works on Windows why install a second OS? Just to avoid the AI? When you have to go back because something ultimately doesn't work on Linux, you're still going to be exposed to the filthy AI.

That's fine but people here are trying to convince everyone that Linux is a 1 for 1 replacement of Windows or MacOS and as someone who has a lot of experience with Linux and uses it (and enjoys using it) for work/coding/development, that's simply a lie.

Fuck off Russian shill.

I keep trying to learn to draw but I simply suck at it no matter what. I’d love to learn how to draw all kinds of things like architectural drawings, or cute designs, etc. But I can barely even copy something if I have the picture right in front of me.

I’d like to take a class that teaches the basics of drawing that I could follow along with using Procreate or something. Does anyone have good recommendations for someone who seems unable to gain any proficiency at drawing?

I have a large space under our deck that is enclosed and have been turning into a sort of shed. Every time I go in there though I'm super itchy all over like something has been biting me. I don't see any insects though. However I am bad at noticing things like bugs.

Any ideas?
