Cyberpunk 2077 was good (on PC) when It came out, and now it's great. It has earned that favourable talk.

In science fiction there's sometimes a distinction between virtual intelligence (something that simulates intelligence but isn't really intelligent) and actual artificial intelligence (something really intelligent but created through science and engineering instead of natural biological evolution).

Large language models would almost certainly be VI by those definitions, not AI.

It was inspired by Thatcher's Britain, which is what the current breed of British fascists are trying to recreate and "improve" on, so... yeah, they probably see Norsfire as a good inspiration for what they want to achieve. They got rid of the dialogue wheel and went back to a list of options (influenced by character background / skills), so at least there's that, I suppose.

If you've got windows 10 try updating to 22h2 (no, really; a consequence of Bethesda being acquired by Microsoft, I suspect), and update your GPU drivers.

That got it running on my 980ti, so it should also work with the 1070.

“Didn't Denuvo come out after Fallout 4 launched?”

No, it came out a bit more than a year earlier.”
