i have no idea what connection you think there is between piracy and adblockers. if anything, wouldn't killing all adblockers encourage more piracy, not less?

the report in question is from 1985. this in no way contradicts the millions of people who died due to famine in the USSR in the 30s. it ain't the pro-stalinism gotcha you seem to be trying to deceptively pass it off as, OP.

i think the takeaway is that the post is a joke founded on the mistake of interpretting all of the portraits as directly representative, implying that, as an old man, picasso looked like a cubist nightmare in real life, when he actually probably just looked like an old human.

my favorite name origin for a bit of software relates to the text editor nano. nano was written as a standalone clone of Pico, as a play on metric prefixes, but Pico is actually Pine compositor, part of Pine, an email client. Pine itself was based on an earlier email client called Elm, and has been attributed as various recursive acronyms such as 'Pine Is Nearly Elm'
