I tell people yes do get an EV for your next car. But also use this chance to really think about if you need the car at all. Or does every adult in the household need a car each. Our city is trash for everyone having to own a car.

Best is to run your car to the ground. Then get an EV if you must own a car.

Exactly. Assuming people interested in this are guys. Dating apps are a women’s market and that’s just facts. Because of such their profile can be completely trash and they’ll get matches.

For guys you need to put the work in. I met my wife on tinder (ages ago before paid tier even was introduced). It was after a lot of trial and error on the app.

Your profile needs to show who you are in the best light, and really importantly to show you’re not dangerous

Honestly like no amount of money will change the results if your dating profile is shit.

If you’re a whale willing to spend 500 on tinder, spend it on marketing yourself. New photos, personal trainer, hobbies and seriously important - new clothes that fit you.

Lot of single people I meet always say “I don’t want to change who I am”. Changing the way you look and feel isn’t changing who you are. Unless you’re actually as shallow as your outfit. It’s not lame to see what the trends are and even ask a salesperson of the opposite sex for advice. Putting yourself out there is all aspects of such.

Present your best self. Because that’s all a person swiping can judge you on. That 5 seconds.

At least when Jobs was being a tyrant there was proper innovation. Really try and remember the shit they put out at his prime. Shit was timeless. And all still had acceptable pricing relatively speaking.

With Apple it’s all or nothing. When you’re in the ecosystem everything works and works well. When it’s one device that needs to be its own ecosystem. That’s just the way they’re designed. Some aren’t happy about it. Some are. There was clearly a market gap for users wanting this kind of simplicity.

A home solution for file transfers between Apple and non Apple for me is a local nas.

I can see Microsoft being even more aggressive with beating features into you with windows. Best steer clear if possible

Cooking simple ass stuff is still cooking and that’s a win. I love cooking one pot dishes. Everything in a rice cooker and press start. There are days I don’t feel like cooking for sure. I guess it’s about finding a style that doesn’t feel like a chore for everyday cooking. And go all out when you have the energy.

I actually enjoy cooking for myself. I do always make a batch. I feel more relaxed and free to experiment knowing I won’t disappoint anyone if I make a mistake.

To me that’s like saying everyone’s too exhausted to brush their teeth or have a shower. Simple cooking isn’t hard when it’s ingrained in your life. That comes from finding enjoyment in it and upbringing plays a big part in that.

This is upbringing and education. If you grow up in a household that eats well and values food and cooking at home surely it’ll make a difference. I wouldn’t solely blame this on the individual. America sells junk food way too aggressively and way too much. I reckon there needs to be restrictions on that and even heavier taxes on junk food.

While I personally wouldn’t repair my own iPhone. If I need it done I would want to go to an Apple Store anyway. This makes selling on your phone for other people to fix and use and sell on and use again virtually impossible, which would’ve been more sustainable than just binning the phone.

It’s especially shitty since they also announced net zero plans. It’s all smoke and mirrors.
