Are there any public examples of that? The retraction process is so unbelievably convoluted and slow that I am surprised to hear it is used for censorship.

Just because the billionaires are dead doesn't mean their wealth automatically distributes through the population though. Their kids/spouses get it first and who knows what their intentions are going to be.

Wikipedia describes the origin different, so maybe the parallels were not intended:

The film is based on the true story of Holmsen's sister, a Norwegian, and her relationship with an Indian, whom she brings home for Christmas Eve. The film was released to negative reviews.

Have you considered carbon monoxide poisoning? Maybe the disoriented you is snitching on you to advertising companies (/s just in case it is not clear).

Quick tip for moving accounts:

Export your profile from your current account, then import into the new one. Keeps subscriptions and even saved comments/posts, but doesn't include any of your post history. Its in the settings of the web app, when you are logged in.

Just make sure the next server you use has at least Lemmy 1.9.5 (I think) which was the first version with that functionality.

Putting such a project on Github is going to be risky, but maybe your case is again one of these where you can argue, you are not supplying the media yourself.

Seeing as this uses RealDebrid, wasn't there some drama around the service recently? Not a subscriber, so don't have any direct contact to this, just remember some threads where a company offering the services started giving out user info to the local government.
