How the hell are you ending up finding movies that are less than 1GB and are still quality enough to actually watch?

Search for something, sort by number of seeders, download the top file around the size you want.

Also remembering uploaded names helps (yify comes to mind)

Great analogy, and it's honestly funny (and sad) that it needs to be said.

I'm male and have never considered myself to be attractive, but when I was on dating sites I had no problem blocking the occasional matches I got after a few one word answers.

In my opinion, one person shouldn't be responsible for keeping the other person entertained and engaged.. there needs to be some back and forth.

One more tip for you terrible daters out there - stay off your phone unless you're specifically showing the other person something.

Just realized how much potential there is for transparent background memes on Lemmy... absolutely beautiful

I think it works really well for some people, but personally I feel like you

Definitely this - you can stay with a company and get a small raise yearly (maybe), or switch roles and advance quickly

Future generations learning how to utilize powerful new technologies is a bad thing now?

Computers must suck for the average user. I'd assume most people on this site would have no issue disabling annoyances in Windows. But most people probably just leave the defaults enabled, which is terrible.

I've been watching old episodes of Computer Chronicles lately - it's amazing how much more user friendly Microsoft products were back in the day.
