That's why I attempt to sync my library to locally hosted as best I can haha. Too many times some awesome obscure song has just.... Poof. Gone.

It really is for me when I've got thousands of servers and hundreds of firewall rules, hundreds of subnets and routing to worry about.

Old tale, I know, but just cause v4 is running out on the internet it doesn't stop anyone from using it in their homes. I manage some ASNs on the internet. I have no need yet to worry about implementing v6 on the inside.

Only caveat for me is music. Everything at my fingertips and new releases and all that is awesome.

I have it synced across 4 computers and my phone. You just need a central repository. For that I use nextcloud. I suppose you could use OneDrive, Google drive, box, sync thing, or something else though.

I can't even tell you the number of times and apps I've literally typed the name of, and windows either doesn't find it, or decides to make me wait 5-10 seconds while it searches the web instead. Super helpful....

Gnome is still a bit quirky to me and I've been running it on my latest install. I still don't get their idea of by default, without extensions, how I'm supposed to use software that requires a tray icon to use.
