Regarding the venting sometimes people don't want a solution they just want to vent.

A "tankie" is a slang term often used pejoratively to describe individuals who support or defend authoritarian socialist or communist regimes, particularly those associated with historical events involving military intervention, such as the Soviet Union's use of tanks to suppress uprisings (e.g., in Hungary in 1956 or Czechoslovakia in 1968). The term is generally used to criticize those who are perceived to be uncritically supportive of such regimes despite their human rights abuses or authoritarian practices.

Yes it is good to know this because you don't have to waste your time with them now that you know they're a shallow piece of shit :)

This sounds weird. Some devices pair with more than one device, some do not. I have a Bose SoundLink and it is paired to my phone. I paired it once. Any time I turn it on it goes "BBLLLOOP!" And that is how I know it connected. Off I go listening.

Part of the ToS. Whatever you put on there is effectively theirs. Same with Facebook and your photos etc.

This is not the right reason to use the down vote button... Just saying.

I'm not trying to disagree here but I was curious, this is what I discovered:

"Yes, it is possible to make a USB device without paying the licensing fee, but there are limitations and risks involved:

  1. No USB Logo: You won't be able to use the official USB logo on your product or marketing materials. The USB logo signifies that the product has passed compliance testing and adheres to USB standards.

  2. Compliance Issues: Without certification, there is no guarantee that your device will be fully compliant with USB specifications. This could lead to interoperability issues with other USB devices and systems.

  3. Legal Risks: Using USB technology without proper licensing and certification might expose you to legal risks if the USB-IF enforces its intellectual property rights.

  4. Market Perception: Consumers and businesses often prefer certified products as they are deemed reliable and trustworthy. Lacking certification might affect your product's market acceptance.

Despite these challenges, some manufacturers choose to proceed without licensing, especially for low-cost or experimental products. However, for commercial and mass-market products, obtaining proper certification is generally advisable to ensure quality and legal compliance."

Yes it can, I'm not sure what the process is called or how it's typically done but I can accomplish this by playing with the EQ settings when editing videos in Davinci Resolve.
