Do you use multiple languages? And if ye. Do you have a pro/paid version that switches between languages automatically?

You dont need to press both space buttons simultaneously to add a space 😉

Its not that difficult actually! They even have a mini game and a very good tutorial in the app!

I feel that its gotten a lot easier to type since i got this and a lot less typos

Next to f and h

It takes some getting used to but i am pretty happy with it! You swipe up on the buttons for capitals and it has some gestures that makes deleting and restoring quite easy

I use typewise. It feels like there is more space for every button and i no longer accidentally press the space button

Over here we call them cross spiders because of the cross pattern on their abdomen

Maybe reddit is indeed better for you

I trully dont understand why sellers still use etsy. I partly understand that buyers do but for sellers its a shitshow of fees and eroding terms that limit any dignity for the sellers.

There is a great coop alternative run by the sellers and where you can buy in on the coop by working for them

My point is, that this is such a minor thing, compared to why most people left reddit.

Its basically like saying ill go back to my abusive husband, because i like the colours on the walls there.

I might have misunderstood this but is Android really trying to push this as tracking as a privacy upgrade, simply because it let's us choose which of our interests we want advertisers to have access to?

I have been very happy with DuckDuckGo, and it has helped me break free of routines that I did not feel safe with. Especially the small flame icon that would clear all history, cookies and cache from websites that are not "fireproofed" was great!

But today I had to do a quick example on Tinkercad (3D browser design tool) and it was so slow! I thought that my PC maybe was busy doing something (yeah its an older PC but not THAT old), but when I open the same page on my now parked Opera browser, everything went smoothly.

I am ok with using Opera, or any other browser for 3D work, as I don't really do all that much of it, but I just feel gutted to find out that my now favorite browser sucks so bad at something, not to mention the Microsoft Edge processes when that is the last of any browser that I would choose to use

EDIT: I found out that this was due to hardware acceleration was off, on my DuckDuckGo browser. I had turned it off, because the fonts on websites looked blurry when it was on. The solution was to turn off antialising on the Nvidia control panel, and restart the PC. It is now working well!

If you don't accept, then guess

I went for a walk in the woods and found multiple fallen branches with this fairly long growth on them.

I assume that it is a fungus of some sort but does anyone have more info on what kind it is?

I found so many that I eventually stopped taking pictures of it. But I haven't seen this before so I was surprised, as I spend quite a lot of time in the woods.

I have noticed that sometimes when browsing image searches on Google (android phone) it will make a swoosh animation across a part of clothing. I made a short clip to demonstrate. I used Arnold, because Arnold, but seems to happen mostly on famous people

What is this for?

Not quite sure what they represent but their new slogan means "quiet tummy" that translates to "feel safe" and a similar saying as "gut feeling"...

They may be tummies but look like something entirely different. They have TV commercials with them talking to each other

Is there a community for asking questions about pet symptoms? Maybe a place where vets share advice?

I already go to my local vet with our dogs when needed but we have no vets for aquatic animals here and I could use some advice about an issue some of my fish have.

I could imagine though that it could also be a good place to share experiences and advice about more obscure issues for any pet, like SLO in dogs. We got a diagnosis from the vet, but a lot more advice online about it.

I have come to realise that I can't just leave Facebook and Instagram without it influencing the stuff that I really care about. Most of my hobbies, interests, friends, clubs etc are on Facebook, and leaving the platform would affect the level of involvement that I can achieve.

So my question is: would it be an option to run Facebook and Instagram on a device that I don't use for anything else than that? I won't being it with me anywhere and I won't use it for communication, searches, browsing etc. Only Facebook and Instagram.

I still haven't accepted the terms of the meta platform and as accepting them would allow to track on any device, I have uninstalled on all devices. So I am thinking of installing the apps on a spare device and just letting them be isolated there.

I realise that they will still track my activities on the apps though, but I believe that the few weeks I've had without the app, has taught me that I dont need to browse the fees. Just check the communities that i am involved in and put again

Any thoughts or advice on this?

I had turned targeted ads off, on Facebook and Instagram. I still got ads but they were not targeted based on my data. I could live with that

Today I got a popup requiring me to pick an option of either accepting targeted ads or pay the equivalent of €13/$14 for an addfree experience across all meta platforms.
