debian has never broken anything here in twenty+ years of use. I'VE broken shit, but debian never has.

little things like this that would have only gotten updates for one version of windows to another, for ui changes or sumsuch, now get updates frequently, and since they're 'store' updates now, you have even less control over them. it's rather annoying.
better to support via votes, funding, spreading-the-word, and volunteer efforts, than to label oneself a 'pirate' (or anything, really) on voter registrations, which are public data here. i'll stick with "independent" on that form, tyvm.
fake today, but a very real possibility in the not-so-distant future.
google can still mine the data, but a web site and their 'marketing' and 'analytics' cannot track and id users by ip. google still gets all that sweet browser data, they also run public dns. they can still put '2 and 2 together' even if the destination is 'cloaked'. that's what's "anti-competitive".
but with everybody clinging to ipv4, cgnat is becoming more and more common. it's time for those 'marketing' and 'analytics' companies to learn that an ip address does not translate to a single user, or even a single household--so quit trying to track or identify users by ip.
"anyone can use mullvad public dns for free. their paid vpn service already uses it so don't set it up separately if you're a subscriber"

i like that they have a public repo with the details on how their blocklists are compiled and what's in them.
or they're trying to turn (g)mail into a shitty, high-latency, unreliable alternative to imessage.
roku because you 'need' an account to use (try here for one without a payment method requirement).
vizio must be a new thing for the current models. mine (bought last year, and was "last year's" model then) didn't need a net connection to set up for using as a 'monitor'.
they make too much money off of each of these for google to consider doing any of them, other than maybe improving insertion algorithms so placement is in 'better' spots.. but 'better' for you and the viewing experience and 'better' for them and click-thru rates are likely different outcomes.
no need. they're still making tons off of v1's dlc and microtransactions.
can it, dad.
