Yes, we are just training ourselves by living life the hard mode, because life is hard. We do not take the easy route.

I count the number of items to get, and tell myself to remember the number, then I sometimes summon devil's help to recall the very last item at the store. Half probability of successfully remembering to get the items justifies not writing in the first place.

It's common here in Malaysia for baby cradle swing or baby bouncer or baby rocker. The hook on the ceiling is attached to the cradle with a spring. Now my mind is dirtied by this meme.

StackOverflow is good for:

• general questions (when you don't know where to look for) eg. how do I go about ...?

• specific questions (when you know what you want, in simple english) eg. suggest ways I can ...?

• quick fixes with more than one suggestion eg. I get this error, how to fix and please explain.

• understanding concepts as different people explain concepts differently eg. what is ...?

Documentation is good for:

• details (when you need to know more and when you really know what you need)

• features (find a list when you want to know what else you can do with it)
