Unfortunately, when "politics" equals "whether certain people deserve basic human rights," it's not a minor issue. I don't keep company with people who think I'm subhuman.

I feel the same. I like not having commercials in my music and being able to listen to a wide variety.

I see you're unfamiliar with the alternate spelling, skwerl.

Given the fact that your question has caused The Evil Song to get stuck in my head, Sorcerer, I feel you are obligated to erase "It's a Small World" from my mind and from existence.

Please and thank you.

Agreed. The life of a phone includes multiple cables (unless someone here knows some trick I don't), so including OEM hardware that's tested and recommended for the device is great and I wish it were still standard. Phone manufacturers not including parts that they still sell separately seems to have little to do with environmentalism/conservation and much to do with profits.

The Princess Bride is one of my favorite examples of this, especially because the "story within the story" is the main story, which is unusual.

The correct answer is people are fat cats. That commenter was so close.

I love this question! This made me really happy. My favorite has always been (and remains) the brontosaurus. (Probably can blame "The Land Before Time" for its influence.)

I remember in the early/mid-90s being corrected that brontosaurus wasn't a dinosaur species, but was actually the same as apatosaurus. Being a stubborn child, I refused to accept this and always considered the brontosaurus, not the apatosaurus, my favorite. I felt so vindicated when the study came out in 2015 that brontosaurus and apatosaurus weren't the same.

Perhaps that's why I still stubbornly refuse to let go of Pluto: the minute hope that my favorite planet will be recognized again someday. Alas.

I've only ever known people to use Bing for porn (or because their workplace forces it on them). There are people who actually choose it?

I like to think half of the last letter is cut off and it's "free doom," which is, disgustingly, what kids in Palestine are getting.

Back in the day (haven't tried it in over a decade), pizza hut made really good deep dish pineapple pizzas. The crust was crunchy and just shy of being too greasy and I loved it. But I also love pineapple, so.

If we're talking absolute favorite, then I'm a Chicago deep dish kinda person. White or pesto sauce, cheese, artichokes, onions, tomatoes, grilled chicken, spinach, bacon, maybe some more meat or veg. Gimme that and a fork and knife and I'll be very happy.

What are some (non-English) idioms, and what do they mean (both literally and in context)? Odd ones, your favorite ones - any and all are welcome. :)

For example, in English I might call someone a "good egg," meaning they're a nice person. Or, if it's raining heavily, I might say "it's raining cats and dogs."
