Yeah, because the US "justice" system famously never treats juvenile defendants as adults in order to mete out draconian punishment that eliminates all chances for rehabilitation..

So basically, killing Luigi would not make copycats less likely, but it WOULD make it more likely for copycats to shoot CEOs AND cops?

Hmm.. The killing of Luigi itself would be awful, of course, but the consequences of it sound like a win to me ๐Ÿค”

that the moment a physical book is published and sold through it immediately becomes "not available for sale"

Because that specific book now has a new owner who can keep it or sell it as they see fit. Like people still do with physical games.

If you mean that a book becomes generally unavailable when it's between printings, though, you're wrong.

Publishers overlap print runs and begin selling the first paperbacks before they've sold out the initial hard cover prints PRECISELY to avoid the situation you seem to think happens with every single book.

It's heavily affected by the fact that I used to listen to After the Revolution to fall asleep (in a good way! It's a great book and Robert Evans' voice is soothing IMO), but here's mine:

Fifth Element. With my eyes.

Not the NEWEST original movie I've watched, though. I'm not sure which one that is but I'm confident that I used my eyes for that as well.

I knew about the origin, but always thought it was called Hawaiian because of the combination of pineapple and ham, both of which are known as staples of modern Hawaiian food. TIL!

The obsession with Soros is hilarious

Until you realize that it's not about Soros. He's just their shorthand for "those evil Jews that secretly control everything"

When she says "I'm not the Soros candidate I am of the people like you", what she's actually saying is "don't worry, I hate and distrust Jews too. I'm a (gentile) white supremacist like you".

When you DO pay: 24/7 mediocre flutes, with unskippable commercials.

If anyone past the age of 9 don't realize that volume controls exist and that it's good for their hearing to use them, that's on them. And possibly their parents.
