When I was young I thought I was too old to watch cartoons for kids. I didnt become an avatar fan til i was an adult.

It helps a lot for the burgers that there are now actually good fake meat options. Before the Impossible burger you basically had to lie to yourself to think fake meat was equivalent.
This only works if you're America, and even then only somewhat. Everybody else has to fear other places not valuing their currency as highly.
If it was a corporation, absolutely. It's part of the risks they're taking on as a business. But for a government, which is by definition non profit, you kinda have to mandate return of the funds. Otherwise the government as a whole could collapse.

Very few countries, if any, give legal preferance to one ethnicity except for israel. China is almsot entirely chinese people, but if a white person moves there they are not discriminated against by the government.
