Is it? We've been making glass for centuries and it's the one thing that is consistently recycled. You would have to grow the wood (resources), transport the wood (resources), change the wood's properties (resources) and there is no recycling in place.

It's kind of like when the UK says fanny, they mean vagina and the US means butt. It does and will cause misinformation to thrive. Just because we have 2 different meanings, that doesn't mean either is wrong.

That's not what I mean, I know you will get it. But US politics has a lot of misinformation going on, mixing up terms the US uses for certain things can make the misinformation thrive. In US terms, you sound like a liberal. You don't want a nanny state, you want a government owned by the people.

but DOES believe in rules and various degrees of enforcement to defend the powerless from the powerful.

So, kind of a soft government? What about roads and utilities? What really turns me off of libertarian is the belief that people have to pay for their own roads and fireman. The rich will only survive then, kind of like how our healthcare is right now. But if you're saying that the government is ran more like a co-op, then I get it.

Fear doesn't work, we've known this for decades. If we know what positive steps are being taken, then we can support those or perhaps build on them if you're able.

That fear based, helpless feeling needs to be shot down when ever we see people spreading that. We need to take action, but no one is talking about what we, as a single household, can do. I'm not saying we alone can fix everything. What steps can we do and/or how can we support people who are doing the right thing?

I remember a phone company saying they were going to install cameras in the screens but then no one every talked about it again. Does anyone check?

The justice department has accused Google of using its market power to unfairly lock out rivals and position itself as a gatekeeper of the web. The case marks the first brought by the government against Google to go to trial. The justice department has also joined a separate case against Google brought by the attorneys general of 38 states and territories over monopoly concerns in advertising.

Google has denied wrongdoing in both cases and did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The justice department did not immediately comment.

In filings unsealed last month, Judge Amit P Mehta tossed out a handful of charges brought against Google, narrowing the case in a slight victory for the company. He said Google was not required to defend itself against charges that the design of its search results page has harmed rivals such as Expedia or Yelp.

Still, Mehta allowed some of the more significant charges to proceed, including key arguments that Google’s exclusive contracts with phone manufacturers allegedly harmed competitors. The department alleges the company pays billions each year to “secure default status for its general search engine and, in many cases, to specifically prohibit Google’s counterparties from dealing with Google’s competitors”.

They are required to talk about anything over $100 million but they "didn't want people to be discouraged about tithing to them."

I was looking up if they owned any Pepsi stock still and apparently if they do, they're not talking about that either.

It's called Modlog in the Monitoring Stats section.

I wasn't sure if my posts were being removed but it turned out to be some federation stuff. This way you can check if you've broke a rule or something.

Edit: If you don't see it, look in the about section of the community you're in, it might be there.
