If you recognize something about yourself that you do not like, then you have a wonderful opportunity in front of you to change that thing, whatever it is!

Bonus: it is actually possible to do that, whereas trying to change the entire world is an enormously difficult task that is guaranteed to be quite frustrating.

But it will take effort, and time, and I wish you the absolute best of luck! Try to find some irl people that can be there to encourage you on the path.

Yeah, rather than offer your comment the benefit of the doubt people immediately jumped on the downvote train - that's how you know this is ~~Reddit~~ Lemmy!

You could try adding a /s to see if that helps?

This is what the original founders of the United States of America believed, but that did not last long.

Separately, ignorance is different than obstinacy - the former is easily curable but I have never heard of anything ever that can possibly cure the latter.

Anyway, you could have the most amazing endgame chess move ever planned out, but if you can't get to it then it's useless. The Republicans are winning so much lately bc they are playing the game as it is, not as they wish it could be in some fantasy scenario. If we want to beat them then it will take equal effort than they have put in for decades while liberals seem to have simply gone to sleep.

At which point I am proud to see someone asking questions in order to educate themselves:-).

Correction: some of them truly know why. However, they are trying to see what they can get away with, like a toddler testing their boundaries ("but why can't I have dessert instead of dinner!?"). It is our fault if we fall prey to their BS.

The only thing required for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing.

This is the way. Also:

It's not the best UI, but you can also view your comment from a standard web browser, just to see how it looks. The advantage to the web browser is that it is always by definition maximally up-to-date:-) - though its baseline functionality may still be lower than an app if the latter is done well.

For me it shows as step 5, in Firefox on Android using web browser interface. Also I can view your source which shows as simply "5. Go...", so it is definitely your app.

If we only would do so... but with globalization and automation, it seems that the interests of the wealthy no longer align with democracy, hence the latter looks more poised to give way than the former.

Oh damn, thanks for the explanation! 😀

Oh, "it" meaning Bing then, not DDG. Although I thought Bing had always been free... shows what I "know"!:-P

Did it used to be better? I rarely if ever used it before Google's enshittification, but now I'm just happy to find ~~streaming services~~ whatever I need.
