this would assume that finding the next prime is a linear operation , which is false

if I'm not mistaken , a example of a problem where O(n!²) is the optimal complexity is :

There are n traveling salespeople and n towns . find the path for each salesperson with each salesperson starting out in a unique town , such that the sum d₁ + 2 d₂ + ... + n dₙ is minimised, where n is a positive natural number , dᵢ is the distance traveled by salesperson i and i is any natural number in the range 1 to n inclusive .

pre post edit, I realized you can implement a solution in 2(n!) :(

I misread this as if it lacked the y and was slightly confused for a second

to be fair , neither the free software movement nor the open source movement (which are distinct ideologically) are explicitly socialist . in a way , especially the free software movement , they embody an extention of liberalism .

both of these movements focus on the individuals freedom and take issue not with developers/companies being systemically incentivized to develop closed source / nonfree software , but with individual developers/companies doing so . thus the solution taken is limited to the individual not to systemic change .

And set the date format to YYYY.MM.DD for the entire world. Americans and Europeans can stop arguing.

this made me uncontrollably angry , its YYYY-MM-DD not YYYY.MM.DD

honestly I use .hh/.cc which is quite nice IMO . you can also use .hpp/.cpp but I don't like it personally

reminder that .H can be used as a c++ header extension , along with .C for source files

honesty I never understood why people consider malbolge so bad . sure its difficult AF to do anything in and the complexity gets quite higher still , but IMHO its just to abstract to be painful , it feels to different to feel like something you should be able to understand .

honesty struggling to write simple operations in some of my own esolangs was way more mind-bendingly horrid than I think malbolge could be without making a compiler to it , while still feeling like I was programming .

to be fair I also made ArrayFuck so yeah

to be fair I can't imagine Gabe being that fond of piracy ... checks ah never mind mind

One thing that we have learned is that piracy is not a pricing issue. It’s a service issue. The easiest way to stop piracy is not by putting antipiracy technology to work. It’s by giving those people a service that’s better than what they’re receiving from the pirates.

- Gabe Newell , as quoted by gamesradar

BTW the quote is under this amazing image , which I very much hope was not placed there recently :

Gabe Newell engaging his inner heavy weapons guy , by standing on some dock looking thing , bolding a machine gun

I believe it was a app , yes

autistic complaininghonestly I don't even know how to interpret ~11.5 μg b/s (micro gram bits per second).

Seriously I get not liking capital letters , but like ESPECIALLY in this case (as ~11.5 b/s and ~11.5 B/s are about as reasonable) , capitalize your units ! also differentiate between GiB (gigi bits) and GB (giga bits).

to be fair , because g and b are not separated by a space , "×" or "•" , g should be interpreted as a prefix , according to SI rules , but its not something most people know about and g is not a valid SI prefix .
