I have been reliably informed that X is going to give it to you, that they're tired of waiting for you to get it on your own, and that X is going to deliver to you.

Methane is lighter than air. You deflated your balloon intestines by removing the cork, so the methane and other gases are no longer giving you a modicum of buoyancy.

A lot of fine art is basically porn. And that's not entirely unproblematic given some paintings and what we know of some painters.

Cold climate?

How the fuck are you supposed to heat that thing? It's designed like a heat sync, is all open plan and windows, and looks to be insulated with corrugated iron.

Built in 1959, no surprise. Probably thought they'd be able to start phase 3 and go nuclear powered within the decade.

But hey, on the plus side there's a brook running through the foundations.

This is originally a story comedian Jack Whitehall told on Graham Norton:

I get that women don't feel safe rejecting guys openly, but it's pretty sad to realise they're that scared of you.

I mean, you start questioning what you did to scare them. Was it how you looked at them? Was it how you're dressed, the hammer, the way you asked them out, ... ?

TBF my experience with Japanese and American workers is that you spend a lot of time in the office, but aren't particularly productive. Hardly surprising, given there's loads of evidence that suggests a strict enforcement of leisure time, actually increases productivity.

No one works at 100% if they work 70 hours a week and check their emails during the weekend.

Or as I once put it to a boss, when he asked me why I was leaving the office at 1700 on the dot, I finish my work in 8 hours, my colleagues need 9.

IRC Musk also fired much of Twitter's legal department. I wouldn't be surprised if meta hired plenty of them too, so they know where the bodies are buried.

This isn't the first time Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan have been involved in proceedings against Zuckerberg. I assume he's more prepared this time around.

But Musk will likely get a settlement out of it. That's simply how the world works. Shit floats.
