What the heck is an "Android Experience"? That seems like some vague aspiration or ideal that doesn't mean much. You probably have an idea of what you want or prefer, so easier to state that.

I just ignore them. If they pop up with any notifications I disable those.

Since it sounds like you like the Pixels, probably wait for the 8 or 8a. The 4A should still be good till then, unless there's a really serious security hole that is discovered in the next few months.

There's the cheap $2 holders, and there're the more expensive ones that can have the phone "float" over the controller, balancing the weight better. I've seen ones with a ball socket too, so you can pivot the phone to portrait, great for DS emulators.

Thanks, Green is quite new, I first heard of it like a week ago. Since I'm not familiar with the platform, thought I'd ask. Am anticipating moving to a new home in a few years time so am aiming to get it set up with some useful automation.

This is why I downvoted you: I was asking a legit question but was treated as a joke. I was hoping the Fediverse would have less of Reddit's nonsense replies but I guess not.

No, Green is their latest launch, supposed to be cheaper and easier for newcomers to start.

If that is the attitude that vets take when newcomers ask questions, good luck getting widspread adoption.

Yea, infancy? Been using it for at least 6 years by then, it's hardly infancy.

Were dial-up connections default still? I had been on cable for two years by then.

Would a Home Assistant Green be just as good?

I can get the Fold 5 512GB for about US$1300 now.

Samsung's Galaxy Fold 5. If I'm going to lose the headphone jack and SD card slot, while spending laptop prices, I better get something out of it. In this case, a phone that can be a tiny tablet, that'll cost less than a high-end phone and small cheap tablet.
