The energy would come from the trolley. The people would launch out at approximately the same speed as the trolley interacts with them and the trolley would slow down in response to how much kinetic energy was transferred to the people.

Society doesn't care about cute or endangered animals. The rangers represent a minority.
Mobile in general. At one point, I tried setting up Syncthing to be able to manage files remotely for vlc, but android wouldn't let the two programs access the same space with read/write permissions.
Last week, I was trying to convert a video and the program(FFShare) wouldn't tell me where it was even saving the file to.
There is, but they get labeled as terrorists while far right gets called tourists when they storm the capital building.
Who the fuck is talking about guns? This is just about people who can't be bother to step to the side while having a discussion with their friends. I don't care if you want to have a 20 minute chat in the isle at the super market, but be aware of your surroundings, don't block the traffic and move to the side if you're in front of something that another shopper needs.
You talk more like a capitalist who wants to sell oil.
Steam: Here's a discount.
Epic: You're not allowed to buy or play any Unreal Tournament games anymore.
Note, the idea doesn't support the idea of carry permits. Personally, dont have an issue with a hunting rifle or shotgun kept in a safe at home, but carry and especially cc permits are absolutely insane. You do not need a firearm that can be hidden for either home defence or hunting.
Also a terrible person. The world's big enough for there to be many terrible people in it. You need to create a very robust bureaucracy to keep corruption out and maintaining one is a very unglamorous job. Revolutionaries rarely have that skill set.
I left because the culture, trolling, and astroturfing got to be too much and the exodus meant Lemmy would have enough userbase to fit my usecase.
A conservative was talking at me a few weeks ago about how much he loved how Musk was pissing off the libs and about how he's a shrewd businessman. I asked if he would buy a Tesla and he said never. He didn't have a response when I told him Musk doesn't sound like a good businessman.
Does this happen? I think I've only experienced something close to this in high school, but never as an adult. Normally, people around me are either supportive or indifferent about someone learning new skills.
