Go into the office and waste every resource you can.

Plug in a fan + heater + aquarium + massage pad at your desk and leave everything on constantly even when you leave

Print every email and throw it in the trash.

Make coffee 50x a day and pour it down the sink

Flush a whole roll of TP every hour

Leave sinks on in the bathroom

Use entire tubs of soap to wash your hands

Turn on the microwave for hours at a time

Heat/cool office thermometer to force HVAC into overdrive

Open new browser windows until your computer crashes and repeat until the network goes down

Company wide meme emails that everyone participates in (team building) that crash servers and dominate inboxes

Pour sugar/crumbs everywhere so there's pest problems

Accept every phishing email

Put USB sticks found on the ground into your work computer

Open the door for strangers who want to get in the building without a badge

FORM A UNION

(nuclear option) introduce bedbugs to all your bosses offices

I fully hear you and agree.

Every 5 days there's a software update, for something that just changes one or two things slightly - but rarely if ever is it an improvement.

Oh, you want to do this simple thing you were able to easily do 3 days ago?

Now you have to change 4 nondescript settings, use 3 separate hotkey commands, watch a YouTube video, and troubleshoot for hours to get a once basic function to preform correctly.

I'd bet that the AI system will be used exclusively to identify + paywall things you'll want/need to use your phone.

seems like you want volume control, based on your history you want 1% volume. Subscribe to" basic functions" package to unlock a volume option. Upgrade to "basic functions premium" for up to 5 volume adjustments a week!

Still not enough AI control? The "basic functions unlimited" fully unlocks both volume buttons and for a limited time unlocks the spacebar for 5 minutes an hour from midnight to 6am!

Not yet we're not!

Still plenty of nature to kill before humanity cannot survive in any capacity without corpo supply chains.

If you're breathing free air, drinking real water, and actual food can grow out of the ground we're comparably in cyber paradise given how much worse AI spycraft and corporate ownership will worsen everything exponentially for the non-connected over the next decades

Wtaf is going on in the US lately.

Looking at breaking up Google

Going after Visa for monopolizing debit markets

TD slapped with a penalty worth more than the crime (for the first time ever?)

Going after market manipulators

I've never seen the law applied to the wealthy in a way that might actually influence future behaviour (and not for the worst??!)

They're ensuring their money keeps flowing. This isn't about altruism - it's just their Greed incidentally benefits us.

ISPs are trying to mitigate exposure to lawsuits, prevent costly tracking and tracing responsibilities, and make sure customers can keep paying instead of losing their internet privileges (and their internet bills!)

That peasants like us find this favorable is an unintended bonus.

I've always done protein powder first, then add liquid and doing it the other way around sounds like blasphemy.

Never get any clumps either!

Dry powder on top of a liquid is pure insanity, next you'll tell me you add milk to a bowl of cereal before the cereal

But from there, there is actually much debate about which order of combining is best. Some say that adding dry into wet leads to clumps of dry ingredients floating in the batter, while others say that actually the opposite, adding wet to dry, leads to, well, clumps.

It would appear that the jury is still out, and everyone despises clumps. But one thing is definitely true: It's much harder to successfully add dry ingredients into wet ingredients neatly. That order tends to lead to a giant puff of flour wafting toward the ceiling, and settling all over the counters, while a steady, viscous stream of wet ingredients will instead narrowly ribbon its way down into the bowl containing dry ingredients, and nowhere else.

The initial plan had been for the first fab to achieve full production this year, but the timeline was delayed due to several workforce challenges. These included difficulties in finding skilled workers locally, cultural differences between TSMC's Taiwanese management and American employees, and a shortage of skilled construction workers that slowed the building process. This delay raised concerns about TSMC's ability to maintain efficiency with its US operations compared to its facilities in Taiwan.

Recent success in trial production has alleviated some of these concerns. TSMC has confirmed that the Arizona project is progressing as planned, although the company has not commented specifically on yield rates.

Only if that heat radiation would be evenly distributed - otherwise you would have a gradient which still results in duality of light/dark

There are also places that are relatively empty, which would result in a more typical darkness

Also, speeding everything in existence up to the point of luminance is kind of tricky, what with natural law and all

Isn't this how Walmart failed in Germany?

Basically the "roadmap to success" used in other countries failed in Germany/Europe mostly because that "success" was only achievable through "human rights abuses" and "violating labor laws" that aren't troublesome in parts of the world where labour rights are neutered at every opportunity, and large portions of the population people are too impoverished to afford necessities elsewhere

I've wondered about this, killing the "company" never really seemed like that big of a deal, as the structure (both physical building/tool/systems and operationally) don't simply vanish. You still have the knowledge and skillsets in the population, and the supply chains still exist.

The real problem with these "too big to fail" entities is that the people pulling the levers that cause failures never have any consequences whatsoever.

Yeah, you'll always need banks, energy, transportation, defence etc - operational mechanisms for exchanging goods, building, buying etc will never go away or 'fail' - but their operational practices absolutely could and should change

I'm so sick of the wealth class abusing absolutely everything to guarantee themselves more money than they could ever spend.

Samurai champloo is a classic and contributed a ton to anime style, but maybe doesn't hit as hard with plot as more recent creations. Fun and campy meets dark and gritty

Inuyasha is another classic feudal Japan and magic environment

May as well mention Afro Samurai if I'm gonna have a string of feudal Japan anime

Most people look like they mentioned Cowboy bebop already

I'm a huge Neon Genesis Evangelion fan, but originally watched it in the early 2000's as a teenager with divorced parents so there's probably a big nostalgia factor

I absolutely loved cyberpunk edgerunners, but it's only 10 episodes (watched this probably 5x already)

The animated witcher movie + Castlevania (not nocturne though) were really good.

Arcane + DOTA I found to be really enjoyable as well.
