I get where you're coming from, however I reckon he's doing a huge public service in this regard, imagine someone just happens to click on one of his vids and learns how scummy corpos are. That's why I believe he should continue with these callouts, but yeah I'd like to see more actual repair stuff in future.

I will give that a read. I have been unintentionally using this feature, anytime I expect I won't use the GOS pixel for a bit I restart it, I've also found it disables biometrics as a security measure. Cool stuff.

TIL, I use GOS and never thought to look, I just see a banner saying there's been updates and I've got "update and restart now", "schedule restart" and "I'll restart myself when ready" (or some such).

I was going to say something along similar lines, once the borders are ordered shut, you'll have a much harder time getting out of dodge, not impossible, but much, much harder.

I'm picturing in my mind, that they'll add an overlay that takes up your whole screen on login after October '25 that'll just say "Upgrade to Windows 11 now!" That you can't close.
