Perfectly on brand for Windows then lol

My ultimate goal with learning this is I want to self host my own Monero node and eventually maybe even self host emails and after that learn docker as well.

But I am a long, long way from there.

Where do I start with something like this if I have no experience with networking?

Should I just start with learning a VPS? I just don't like the idea of me not being able to physically control the server because I think one day Monero might be outlawed or something.

But I'll do whatever I have to to learn.

I'm wanting to run my own SimpleX chat server and set up a Monero node as well.

Can this be done on the same machine? I was considering getting a mini PC to do this so it wouldn't be too much of an issue with it being always on.

Or should I take a different approach and set up both separately on two different machines like a raspberry pi or something?

As I'm sure you can tell I don't have a lot of experience with self hosting anything but want to get into it to help strengthen the networks of these communities I care about.

Dude this is seriously cool as fuck. Valves contributions are priceless to the future of Arch and the rest of the Linux ecosystem.

You can still get the disc drive for it though. I mean, it is fucked up its sold separately but it isn't just no disc drive availability at all.

Well, for now it is. Latency is also a big issue

Lease and rent, or piracy.

Wait are you talking about without the disc drive or even with it?

Man, you really don't like Graphene huh? I see you mention it a lot through comments and posts.

What is weird though is that you say in your other comments about how important it is to mention Lineage and others during discussion of privacy based mobile OS's, and yet get all weird anytime anyone even mentions Graphene OS like it isn't important to also talk about them, only the ones you like to push.

That kind if behavior makes me think anything you recommend is suspicious as fuck and I'm sure I'm not the only one noticing that.

so when you freeze your credit your credit score can't go up either?

Paying things on time has no effect at that point then right?

And because of this it makes whatever they fuck with have unnecessary security issues.

Also though they are using it to straight up spy on you whether foreign or not. They got in "trouble" for it once and pinky swore not to do it again.

Fuck the NSA

I saw that on an article about the MiG switch before it came out and it was saying at the time that you could still fake certs and Nintendo didn't have a monitoring system in place for it.

I'm sure they've changed it now though especially from that other users comment you replied to but was halfway hoping someone might tell me it was still possible.

I want to use my MiG switch dumper to copy a game and have me and my buddy play them at the same time.

If we both play the same one online at the same time do we risk a ban?

I noticed that previous articles about it mentioned you could actually fake certificates and make it seem like two different games were playing? Does anyone know if that's still a thing?

Are you saying that increasing prices of a good or service to the point where people don't want to pay for it anymore doesn't contribute to a rise in black market sales and distribution of the good or service?

I think you're mistaken.

Huh I wonder if they'll ever figure out the correlation there...

For example used to it would show HBO Max, Netflix, etc. Now it doesn't do that and I can't figure out how to make it do it again.

Is using the router and modem my cable company provided for my internet putting my privacy at risk? And if so, I have heard of openWRT routers but it seems like there's quite a bit of a learning curve with that but even if I got one would I need a non cable company branded modem as well? Any specifically that anyone here would recommend?

Hey so I installed Yuzu (and many other emulators) via emu deck so the installation is taken care of I think except for the product keys and title keys I have a switch but dont want to fuck with getting the keys out of it and all that so Im trying to just download them I found a website called "theprodkeys.com" is this legit? Sorry if its been mentioned somewhere before I no longer have access to reddit anymore so I cant check the megathread listed that links to reddit.
